Challenge: Root chakra energy balancing week – 6 (+1) days intensive program

I am glad that you have chosen to participate in the root chakra energy balancing week, 6 (+1) days intensive program. Below you can find what we will do every day.

Please also take pictures or videos and post them in the comments on our group Chakra balancing and healing for beginners and on your profile, tagging @ Emotional Healing and Balance with Patricia Lidia.

Why should you accept this root chakra balancing challenge?

The root chakra is considered to be the foundation, the center of safety, survival, trust, comfort. When the root chakra is open and balanced, you feel anchored, stable and comfortable with the current situation. The root chakra can be blocked by an abusive relationship, an unhappy life at home, feelings of insecurity and abandonment. Its imbalance can lead to feelings of anxiety, fear, depression, migraines, arthritis, knee pain, worries and frequent illnesses.

Required (optional)

  • Cards with positive affirmations for the root chakra
  • Crystal related to the root chakra (red jasper, hematite, galena, garnet, ruby, aragonite, smoky quartz, tourmaline, obsidian, jais, heliotrope, fire agate, fire opal, chiastolite, staurolite, sardonix, septaria, red calcite, onyx , coral)
  • Essential oil related to the root chakra (cedar, cypress, ginger, incense, patchouli, vetiver)
  • ½ red cabbage, 1 beetroot, 2 apples, 3 carrots, 1 parsnip, 4cm fresh ginger, 1 onion, ½ celery, ½ red pepper, 1 pomegranate, ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

When, how and where?

The period will be August 15-20.

We will do this together, I will put the activity of the day on the group every day at 8am Romanian time. Every day you will draw a card with positive affirmations for the root chakra and you will meditate on it. If you don’t have the cards I created, create your own cards. Write one of the following statements on a piece of paper or cardboard the size of a playing card:

  • I trust the decisions I make for my own good.
  • I trust myself.
  • I love myself.
  • I feel safe and in balance with myself.
  • I am a divine being of light and I am at peace, protected and safe.
  • I am prosperous and abundant.
  • I am grateful for the opportunities that life gets in my way.

Before drawing the affirmation of the day, shuffle the cards. Ask for guidance from Spirit Guides / Universe, either in the form of a question or in the form of an invocation, then draw a card. The statement found on the card is the one that must be repeated throughout the day. Put the card somewhere you can see it, to make it easy to see as many times as necessary and repeat the statement. Also, write in your diary all the emotions and thoughts that come to you when you internalize the statement of the day.

Then, every day we have a root chakra balancing activity:

Day 1: Scanning the root chakra

Day 2: Meditation with the use of mudras and sounds

Day 3: Massage of the reflex point for the root chakra

Day 4: Grounding

Day 5: Food

Day 6: Twerking

Day 1: Scanning the root chakra

On this day you will receive a list of questions that are meant to help you scan your root chakra as objectively as possible, in order to determine its current state. Answer each question as honestly as possible to see the starting point in unlocking it. Write down all your beliefs, as honestly as possible, in addition to the diagnostic function of the chakra, writing also has therapeutic values …

Day 2: Meditation with the use of mudras and sounds

Choose a comfortable position with your back straight and focus your attention on the position of the root chakra.

Touch the index finger of the thumb, forming a circle or the OK sign (mudra), put your hands on your knees, palms up, keeping the mudra.

Inhale deeply, and when you exhale, sing the LAM (mantra) sound three times.

Repeat the exercise for 7 to 10 breaths.

Day 3: Massage of the reflex point for the root chakra

Identify the reflex point for the root chakra. Choose an essential oil and apply it on the area. Using a root chakra balancing crystal, massage the sensitive point on the heel, slightly inward, for at least 5 minutes, at each foot, as follows:

  • Small, light circles, clockwise
  • Fast pressing, 1 second, on the reflexogenic point
  • Long press, 10 seconds, on the reflexogenic point

Day 4: Grounding

Connect to the sacred feminine through grounding! Go outside (bonus points if it rains), in the park, take off your shoes and remain completely barefoot, move your toes freely, then walk barefoot through the grass, step on the whole sole, touch a tree and greet Mother Earth from the heart. Visualize solid roots descending from your feet to the center of the earth, where they anchor you.

Day 5: Food

Nutrition also has an important role in balancing the root chakra. For this day, I recommend replacing breakfast and dinner with a smoothie and a salad based on food recommended for balancing the root chakra.

Breakfast – smoothie: ½ beetroot, 2 apples, 1 carrot, 2cm fresh ginger, ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Dinner – salad: ½ red cabbage, ½ beetroot, 2 carrots, 1 parsnip, 2cm fresh ginger, 1 onion, ½ celery, ½ red pepper, 1 pomegranate. Cut into cubes and place in a bowl or on a plate. Good appetite!

Day 6: Twerking

Release your mind, body and soul through dance, moving your body in a way that feels authentic for the expression of your soul. Twerking activates the root chakra, bringing a flow of energy to this part of the body and the associated aspects of our lives. Yes, twerking – that dance movement that shakes your buttocks and hips, which has become the basis of African-American dance culture and beyond – is a form of self-empowerment!

Twerk to relieve stress or tension. Twerk to connect with your divine feminine. Twerk to love your body. Twerk to return to your own body. Twerk to connect with you and nature. Twerk to present yourself as your highest self.

BONUS (day 7): Reiki session!
